Cadillac SRX review
This is a luxury crossover sport utility vehicle. It has been through two different incarnations. The first generation of the Cadillac SRX that offer to borrow some parts of the design of the rear wheel drive sports sedan CTS, add options such as third row seating and V8 engines. Second-generation SRX, instead of using a smaller front wheel drive, reducing the top row of seats and the engine is available in V6.
Like most crossovers, SRX lend more than car design features of the truck. The end product smoother ride, better handling, faster moving and get more inspired designs that will be trucks.
Second-generation SRX, once again, smaller. The film was released in 2010. The V6 is equipped with 265 hp and offers up to 223 pounds-feet of torque. Buyers also have the option to decide to buy a meatier V6 with 300 horsepower and 295 pound feet of torque. The first can be purchased with front-wheel drive or all-wheel-drive, while the latter only available with four-wheel drive.
One of the best things about the SRX is the abundant supply of equipment that comes standard with the vehicle. The basic model is equipped with a drive power seats, 60/40 split folding rear seat and adjusted, eight-speaker audio system, 18-inch alloy wheels, climate control and establish two different zones. Additional options include more or less bell or whistle you can not think of, including front and rear seat heat, GPS navigation system with hard drive, leather seats, a sunroof, xenon lights, camera back, a sports-tuned suspension.
On the other hand, modern SRX is too heavy to accelerate fast to what he’s under the hood, although it is a good treatment and good driving on the highway.
The first-generation SRX is offered a choice between the 260-horsepower V6 and 320 horsepower V8 engine is strong. It offers third-row seats are ideal for small children. When used, the third row is not much room for cargo, however. V8 offers a great performance, but the pain in terms of mileage.
